Day 308: Before they all go away.

It’s been an interesting fall this year. We had beautiful colors, but they came in longer stages than usual. This past week, I’ve decided that if I am going to capture any of it, I’d better get cracking! I took this picture only two days ago, but a cold front has already knocked many of the leaves down.

Gorgeous. Autumn (sorry, fall) is only just beginning here.

Does your autumn usually start this much later? I hope you get great colors this year 🙂 Take some pictures!

Well, it is southern France after all, but yes, it does seem a BIT late this year. Not that pleased with my pictures so far, but I’ll keep trying.

So many colours! It’s funny, autumn/fall is nearly over where I live and instead of colourful leaves, we have bare branches already. The good thing is that I made dozens of good photos while the colours lasted!

Yeah, we are definitely on the downswing of things too. Because our oranges and reds came so much later, we still have some of those on the trees. And if you can believe it, there are still trees that are just now turning! They’re half green and half-yellow still. It’s been a lovely, but kind of strange season this year.
